East End Playground

307 Elk Street, Punxsutawney

The East End Playground was constructed in June of 2017 in memory of Josh "Mini" Smith who died suddenly the year before.

The equipment was purchased and constructed through donations, fundraisers and the support of the community. The playground features a variety of climbing features and an adaptive swing and merry-go-round which can be used by children of all abilities.

It is located next to the Thomas L. Barletta Skatepark and the Rails to Trails Trailhead.

Groups can request use of the park by calling the administration office of the Borough of Punxsutawney at (814) 938-4480.
